I can’t believe today is the last day of February! Where the heck did time go? I’ve actually surprised myself with the number of books I’ve read this month – 7!!! Not bad considering it’s the shortest month of the year! Here’s what I’ve been reading this month…
The Inn Boonsboro Trilogy by Nora Roberts
This isn’t the first time I’ve read this Trilogy but boy do I love it! I think I might start reading it every February as the perfect love story! If you’ve not read any of them yet – start with The Next Always and go from there. I promise you’ll be hooked by Chapter 2!
Still Me by JoJo Moyes
I wrote my review on this last week so if you haven’t already read it, do that. But needless to say, I adored everything about Still Me and am now wishing for a fourth!
The Prodigal Daughter by Prue Leith
This is the second of The Food Of Love Trilogy and I’m working on my review for it right now but love, love, love. That is all I have to say!
The Tattooist of Auschwitz by Heather Morris
Another review I’m working on but this one’s taking a while as I process the book and try to stop crying. This affected me even more than I thought it would. Gut-wrenching, soul-baring, beautiful.
Red Sparrow by Jason Matthews
I read this one this month as the film is coming out imminently – and I try to read the book first. Not going to lie, didn’t love this one. It was okay, just not amazing. I’m not sure why exactly, I kept wanting it to be good but somehow it just didn’t get there for me. Who am I kidding though – I’ll still go see the film.
I’m also currently reading The Nightingale and hope to finish it by tonight so that’ll bring my total to 8 for the month! What did you read this month friend? Anything good? I’m going to dive into my bookshelves for March and try to avoid the library/bookshops as much as I can, as there are still books I received for Christmas that I haven’t read yet!
