I can’t believe today marks the first of March, and the first official day of Autumn here in the land down under (which I still find so weird!). I’ve never really set myself goals before beyond the ones I set, and try to stick to, in January. But I’ve been so inspired by the ones my friend, Lisa, sets for herself every month and I thought that sharing them with you would help me keep on track with my yearly goal of filling my life with joy. So here goes:
Celebrate St Patrick’s Day with friends
Love well on Rob for his birthday
Read HP 1 & 2
Run at least once a week
Start a daily gratitude journal
Bake at least twice
Begin using my autumn capsule wardrobe
My second March goal is especially important for me. I am a big one for planning parties and dinners, celebrating birthdays and seasons and ALL the holidays. But as much as I love these things, Rob doesn’t. He hates to be the centre of attention. So this year, I am determined to remember that his birthday is about him, not me – what he wants, not me.
I’ve also made an Autumn To-Do list to cover this season and a list of my favourite books for the season – and I’ll be sharing those with you tomorrow and Monday.
