May Goals

I can’t believe that, as I write this, there are only a couple of days left in April. And that, in less than a month, I will be 31. Thirty was not what I expected, in the slightest. And most of the goals I set for myself to achieve in my 30th year didn’t happen. But I’m okay with that. I can’t change the past, but I can look forward with hope in my heart. But before we jump into May, here are my April goals…

APRIL GOALS

Write in a daily gratitude journal

I actually prayed every day instead, and it was good!

Read at least 2 romance novels that I haven’t read before

Yes! And I can’t wait to share my thoughts on them all with you! I read 7 for April!

Bake at least twice

Yes! I made brownies, Quiche Lorraine and Apple Cinnamon Muffins!

Make homemade soup

Yes! Homemade chicken soup and it was the best!

Celebrate our 12th date-i-versary

Yup! We went to see Avengers Infinity War – and I have all the feelings about it!

Attend the ANZAC Day Dawn Service

Worth the 3am wake-up call! Despite being asleep in bed by 9pm that night!

Run once a week

Yes! I managed it once each week! And this past week, I ran 3.7 miles for #milesformatt

MAY GOALS

Go to a winery

Visit Maleny & Montville (I’m thinking I might combine these two for a little birthday trip)

Celebrate turning 31

Watch When Harry Met Sally

Go to daily Mass at least twice

Go on a Starbucks Walking Date

Read HP 3 and 4

Bake a pie

Sort out my winter capsule wardrobe

Woah! That’s actually quite a few things for this month! Hopefully focusing on these will help me unwind from work and I think I see a little evening baking in my future this month! Help a girl out – what kind of pie should I bake?
